CHEZ BELLE

I can't paint.
I can't write.
I can't sing.
But I can decorate and run a house,
and light it,
and heat it,
and have it like a living thing.
(Elsie De Wolfe)

Most of this blog is about home and my boys, because that is the ministry God has called me to in this season.  Our home, built in 2009, is a work in progress, and probably doesn't look much today like it does in these posts.  My style is Southern with a bit of French and a little Rustic thrown in for good measure . I gravitate to simple lines and warm colors, and usually prefer not a lot of clutter.  The rustic part has grown out of necessity because I live in a house full of testosterone. And lately, I'm on a quest to inject a little bit of funky into my house - probably a mid-life crisis.

If you read this blog for only five minutes, I hope it's obvious God changed me on the two year journey to this place and I try to cherish every moment of life here.  I love to get mail, so if there's anything you wanna know that's not here, click the Contact button and I'll get right back to you.

Enjoy,
