Let Me Count The Ways or "You'll Never Look at Bubbles The Same Again"

"You can't ever find what you do not look for."

I started my list a very long time ago, quite by accident.  Inspired by the original Ann full of Grace, I kept it up occasionally.  It mostly sits, gathering dust on paper and virtual page. No more, I pray.

The book is finally here. Last Tuesday.

I couldn't wait for Amazon so I went looking. Nothing.

"Excuse me, but do you know when you'll be getting any A Thousand Gifts?"  Yes, V-O-S-K-A-M-P.

"Would that be One Thousand?  It says here we have one copy.  I'll show you."

And so I brought the one home and began to dig myself out of the very large, unsettled, can't-stand-my-own-skin pit I've been in for the last 21 days.

I can't tell you that you need this book, but I can tell you that, only three weeks into 2011, I need this book.  Her story is prime example of how our Almighty God takes the most gut wrenching tragedy and uses it for good for us all.  I'm on chapter five and the scribbles and the pretty yellow highlights are multiplying by the minute. If the Barnes and Noble or Borders or Target or New Creation near you is giftless, you can order one,or ten, here.

  1. Hi Tee-
I can't believe you wrote about this.
I have been visiting her site and I have NEVER read words/language so beautifully arranged.

I am off to order her book and the CD for David Nevue-

What you described is a feeling I call
    (is this too much information?)
'having bugs crawling all over me'.

    You are the best Tee.

    Don't worry.
    Everything will be OK.

    Laura

  3. My Dear Tee, my blog soul sistah, I am so sorry that you have been feeling such a burden. I truly, from the bottom of my heart, wish you'd written and told me as I would've been praying double time for you! But, alas, through your wonderful blog post I now know and can pray. I am SO GLAD you found solace in this book. I really believe God ministers to us in multiple ways and some writers are particularly good at cleaning away the debris and dusting our souls off.

It sounds like this book has, indeed, dusted your soul off.

Such a beautiful soul you have!

I can't wait to read it, too.

    Love/hugs/blessings to you,
    Lana
